Description

Since the early 1980s, the WRC (World Rally Championship) has seen an accelerating trend in the performance of cars. Group B, the top category at the time, offered a high degree of freedom in modifications, and Group A replaced it by narrowing the scope of modifications and allowing cars closer to commercial vehicles to compete. The Lancia Delta Integrale is a Group A homologation (qualification) car based on Lancia's small hatchback, the Delta, which has been converted into 4WD and equipped with a powerful turbo engine, and has won the WRC six times in a row. The Group A Delta debuted as the HF 4WD in 1987 and has continued to evolve every year, and Hot Wheels has chosen its final evolution, the HF Integrale Evoluzione, as its motif. Until now, graphics inspired by rally cars have often been used, but this time the all-red commercial car-style coloring is fresh.
