Description

The motif of Hot Wheels is the GT, a mid-size coupe model of the company, named Alfetta, which means "little Alfa Romeo". The Alfetta is known for its ingenious design, such as combining a heavy transmission, which is normally mounted integrally with the engine near the front of the body, with a differential on the rear wheels, to make the front-to-rear weight distribution of the vehicle nearly uniform. The car that Hot Wheels has reproduced this time is an ultra-rare model equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 178 horsepower, of which just over 200 were sold in South Africa only. The four-leaf clover painted on the white body is called "Quadrifoglio", and originally came from the good luck charm that drawing this mark on a race car would bring victory, and is now an icon of high-performance Alfa Romeo.
